Easter 2011

Easter was super fun this year with the huge back yard we have. We are on about an acre of land and have lots of green grass and a fence! The kids woke up to raiding there Easter baskets. We tried to not have much candy in there baskets and they all got shirts/dresses and socks. Plus bubbles for the bath and outside. Janel, Hannah and Colton stayed the night so they could wake up and celebrate with us in the morning.
Janel added some stuff to the baskets and in my opinion there is WAY TOO MUCH stuff. They will be getting half the amount of stuff next year!
We knew Gideon would love this shirt. He is WAY into Legos right now. Donate all your unwanted Legos to US!
One of my favorite treats I got them is in Cami's basket above ...the Crabby Patty stacked sucker! The Bunny Baskets were made by LaVon last year!
Hannah and her cute curlers!

The Egg Hunt outside. Each kid did a dozen eggs and that is how many they got to find. Grama Kris sent some plastic eggs filled with candy to add to the egg hunt along with a few extra fun Plastic eggs from me!

 We're off to church!

I am so thankful that we have the Gospel in our life. I am so thankful that the Savior was willing to suffer for us to have second chances ....welll even 3rd or 4th chances for some of us repeat offenderd. LOL I love Easter and the religious meaning it has in my life!

Blake's 4th Birthday April 1st 2011

My cute little Blake turned 4 years old. He is a very wild little boy who has finally started to give me kisses again ( well mostly cheek kisses, I have to barter for lip kisses)! LOL He has my bone straight, fine brown hair, squinty smile and is boy thru and thru. He is very head strong and is how do I term it.......grumpy! Do NOT ever wake him up early from a nap because he will be awful until the sun goes down. He is a very hard worker and LOVES to vacuum and help me cook. He loves, Iron Man, Spiderman, Star Wars and Toy Story. He loves to run and race, but he only likes to win and gives up if you ever have a lead on him. He growls and makes lots of monster roars and gets right in your face to share them with you. He has the cutest dances and still likes to be wrapped like a baby in his bath towel when out of a bath and get his hair blow dried.

We got him 2 Star Wars guys, Gideon drew him a picture, an Iron Man guy on his cake and the Iron Man hand weapon thingy...whatever it is called. Mom sent him a great book and Janel got him a Whoopee Cushion, kite and Golf set.
Huckleberry on top of his birthday cake with an Iron man guy! I made him his favorite breakfast. Crepes with cream and Strawberries!
 Mike and Logan
 Cami, Gideon and Blake!
 Hannah, Janel and Colton!
 My crazy kids!
Happy Birthday Blake We LOVE you!

January 2011

We all went to the Idaho Falls Temple to walk around as a wholesome family activity. We also went to the Church Visitors center which was really fun. They have a new picture theme inside which features a artist who does all his artwork with real photos he's taken reenacting biblical events. There are some really cool ones of Jesus and John the Baptist. The kids really enjoyed seeing the pictures and touching the big Jesus Statue!

We had a little Christmas cash we got and the kids each got $10 to buy something. So the kids and I went to Walmart to see what was on sale. Mind you I only had the $40 with me, but Gideon had some money at home he forgot. We had all gotten our things and Cami was asleep in the cart when Gideon found something he REALLY wanted, but it cost $17( it was a SPECIAL deal and would probably be gone if we tried coming back for it). He had enough money for it IF he had his home money, but I told him the only way we could get it is if we put Cami's horse back and got hers another time. Instantly he said" No mom, here you can have my game....I don't need it, use my money for Cami to get her horse. She needs a horse". My sweet little Gideon. I love his big heart. I gave up my $10 so he could get his game. I LOVE YOU GIDEON!!!!  Each of them got a game (except Cami got a horse) and Blake got the Bed Bugs game. This is how he and Cami like to play it...on top of the table.

February 2011

We had a funny surprise in our "Mud Room" sink. Spring has sprung inside our house. We had Pumpkin seeds sprouting out the sink. I was drying pumpkin seeds to plant in the summer and some much have gone down the sink. It was fun!

I helped Gideon make Valentine's cards for his class and friends. I drew this monster and the back of the car flips over to cover the back. Then I cut out the heart on the belly and stapled a bag full of candy in the middle.
These are the kids Valentine's baskets full of goodies. I can always remember my mom taking the time to put together goodies for us for all the holidays!
Cami has discovered that we occasionally have what we call "sugar " ants in our bathroom.....you know the small black ones that don't bite, but hang out in your bathroom for water. Well, she finds them by her little potty and gets super excited. She picks them up and plays with them. She talks to them and I even found her in bed for her nap with one on her finger. She told me " Shhhhhh the ant is sleeping". Here is a pic of one on her finger!

Here is Cami on the kitchen floor inside the pillow case late at night when she snuck out of bed! 10:30 PM
Here is her staking it out an hour later with her horses on the staircase 11:30PM!!! (note she even changed her PJ's)
March 2011

Kyle is the Weblow's leader. We were in charge of making baked potatoes for the Blue and Gold banquet. Blake enjoys helping with ANYTHING be gets to put on oven gloves for. We had to bake 60 large potatoes. It was a project.
Here are the Scouts Pinewood Derby cars. They had to incorporate a plastic egg in there car. If I was making one I would mutate the egg into flames coming out the back!
Cami is helping me put up some trim in the Kitchen. I have done a lot of decorating in the house. I still have some frames up without our pictures in it, but hey I am getting there.
Kyle the Cowboy. We both got a little money to spend from our tax return and he bought a 44 mag pistol. Yah, he feels manly!!!!

St. Patty's Day
We had Green Cabbage, Green Asparagas, Green Lemonade and Corned Beef. Yum!
We attempted to go fishing, but Kyle is smoking crack thinking we are going to have fun let alone catch anything with snow on the ground! We went to the Palasade Damn. Cami and I sat and reserved our heat the entire time and Blake and Gideon occasionally tried to fish. We only made it 30 minutes until I ended all the fun!

A week later Kyle and Mike went fishing in Swan Valley and Mike caught this really nice Cut throat trout. Kyle was jealous!
Gideon's school had a crazy hair day and this is what we did! he had fun with it and Kyle even helped me out some!
We are starting some of my seedlings in the utility room in the basement. Cabbage, Broccoli, Onions, Pok Choy, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprout and Tomatoes.
Gideon FINALLY lost his first tooth. It had been loose about 5 weeks before we finally got it out. His adult tooth had already surfaced behind the baby tooth. It got to the point where Kyle and I said you have one week to get it out or we will have to pull it for you. A week later it was still in there so mamma went to work. He would not try the string and door knob. So, I tried some pliers, but they slipped off and I didn't want to hurt him really bad. So, I put tissue on his tooth and did the good old twist and pull. I must admit it was not a pleasant sight. I tried to take it slow, but he bled a lot in the process. He was screaming and Blake was crying "Momma stop, momma stop"! It was sad and sounds worse than it was, but it had to come out. Gideon said it hurt, but he was happy I got it out for him!

Gideon is sleeping with our families tooth pillow. We do gold dollar coins for our kids tooth money. We forgot to put it in his pillow that night, but luckily Gideon forgot about it in the morning and we put it in the pillow while he was in school!
