Halloween Eve

Today was a run run run day! Kyle attempted to get his cow (female Elk) this morning, but only saw Bulls. He came home with a Sage Grouse. This one seemed bigger than the other ones and was the same size as a normal chicken.
Then at 2 was my dance recital. I would have rather sang infron of the entire city then to clog infront of everyone. Kyle and Janel said I did fine. I did alright....still had my mess ups, but it was fun. I have only been clogging 2 months now and I am in an adult med-advanced class. It trully kicks my butt.
Then we had the ward Trunk or Treat, Trick or Treat at the Greenbelt (around the river by the Temple) and then a little trick or treating around the neighborhood! The kids were originally going to be the grinch, Max the dog and Cindy LuHoo, but 2 of them went on protest 2 days ago. So, Kyle was a Hill Billy with a jug of wiskey, I was a Mousekateer, Gideon was the Grinch at the last minute, Blake was Boba Fet and Cami a princess. It wasn't too cold today which was nice. Hannah was Pebble's, Colton BamBam and Janel was half Wilma and half Betty so she could still be Mom to both Pebbles and BamBam. Lots of candy and the kids ha a good time.

Kyle says he is going to make this his new Facebook profile Pic!

The week of Halloween!

Well, this week is Halloween. We have a VERY busy weekend, but fun busy! We went to the school carnival last night. Gideon went as Captain Rex, Blake was black Spiderman, Cami was a Butterfly, Hannah was a fairy, Colton was a Dinosaur and Janel was a punk Vampire! The kids had a lot of fun. We took Janel out to the Haunted Mill afterwards. Kyle and I went there the other week with Mike and Jessica. At first I thought " What am I 16 going to a Haunted house", but it was surprisingly good. At one point I thought I was literally dying......yes I know that sounds lame, but hear me out! You are in this creepy old mill and towards the end (it was about 30 minutes to get thru the entire thing) you are up about 3 floors. A creepy old gremlin opens a door and tells you to watch your step and as you walk in you are walking across this1 foot wide beam with a wall on one side and a 2 story drop on the other side with NO hand rail. I kept saying to Kyle "Are they seriously making us walk along this thing". So I am creeping slowly with my back to the wall looking 2 stories to the ground and as I am going the wall pushes me forward. I have no railing and in  my head there is NO way Kyle can support me from falling and I was probably going to pull him down to his death as well. I am screaming and holding Kyle's hand with both hands and swing around and fall on my side onto a false floor made of GLASS!!! I literally had to crawl off it to get out of the room. FREAKED me out! So when Janel went with us last night I tried to get her to fall on it! Hee Hee! It was fun.

Tonight I was in a Relief Society program "Women at the Well" and sang in the choir and had a solo. It was such a nice program. There were 10 different soloist and a great dinner to boot. Gideon and Blake make little Jack O Lanterns tonight. It was a good thing they were free pumpkins or else they may not have gotten to carve them. It is almost Pumpkin abuse to carve them anymore.....I want to eat them and if you carve them you can't eat them. Beside the crappy weather killed all my pumpkins except 4. What crap!
Sorry, Kyle kept having trouble with the camera taking blurry pics.
Cami got a bad booboo on her middle finger. She and Colton kept playing around in the downstairs shower and Colton slammed her fingers in the shower door. It tore a HUGE chunk of skin off her finger. It is starting to heal now, but it was bad...at least 2 layers of skin gone!
We are really enjoying Janel and her kids. We do a lot of Netflex at night and listen to a lot of 80's music. Love you Janel. Plus I am enjoying the new selection of DVD's she brought!

Boise, Hunting, Janel, Adrianne and Halloween Party

We went to Boise for Luke's baptism. We had lots of fun! We stayed at my friend Liz's house. Thank you Liz! This is the first time I have been to Eric and Heather's house before. They have a beautiful home and the kids had fun running around with their cousins in the backyard! Luke was baptised by his dad Jared and Eric and Grandpa Lainhart weregot to be the witness's. The kids really enjoyed being upfront to watch Luke get dunked. Cami kept yelling" Bath"! We did a whole lot of nothing, but hanging out and talking.....my favorite thing. We came home early Sunday morning so Kyle could start hunting for deer. The kids were sad to leave their cousins.
Ok, so it is hunting season. This is the first time in our marriage that Kyle has gotten to hunt. I am glad he gets to go, but he is OBSESSED! His brain doesn't think of anything but fur and horns. He has not gotten his deer yet nor his Elk. He has brought home a 5-6 "Wild Chickens" or grouse and 5 partridge. He is not going to rest until he had his deer or elk though. I don't care how long it takes.....just bring home the meat.

Janel moved in a week ago. WhooHooo!!!!! Dad helped her move and stayed a few days. We celebrated his birthday with good food and games. I wanted to go bowling, but he said he is to fat to bowl anymore. Ok Dad whatever!!! Janel and I are having a good time together and her kids Hannah and Colton are adjusting great. We played volleyball all morning Wednesday and then did clogging. The volleyball made me a little sore, but I love playing. I am sooo glad she is here.

Adrianne visited us last night and brought her boyfriend. Of course she had to sneak over because her mom is still being stubborn about us. We will never turn Adrianne away and that is that. Her boyfriend seems like a good kids and his parents have rules I approve of, so that is comforting. Adrianne turns 15 next month. Of course I wish she didn't have a boyfriend, but we have no say so in the matter. I am just glad she is coming to me with her problems  and for advise. Kyle and I made a scrapbook for her with pictures of her ages 0-10 and gave it to her early for her birthday. It was so cool because the book came that day. I thought  it wasn't going to get here in time ( I made it thru Heritage Makers). It was cool because Kyle got to sit next to her and go thru it with her. Gideon was so happy to see her...as was all of us. She is doing good and is beautiful of course. She is having problems with her mom, but she is a teenager of course. We love her SOOOO much!
We were invited to a Halloween party tonight for adults only. It was lots of fun. We were Phantom of the Opera characters. Janel picked up the masks for us today! We had good food and played lots of fun games. I love it when I get to go out without the kids...I know that may sound bad to some of you, but man I love my breaks. I love Halloween. It is my favorite Holiday.
We have a busy week next week, but it will be a fun one.
