OK, I am already slacking on my blog so just ignore the date posted. This one is for the middle of December 2010
I really love Gideon's school. They do 3-4 singing programs a year. We went the Thanksgiving program and it was soooo cute. They sang a quite a few song...about 15. Gideon was singing about 80% of the time. I forgot the camera, but luckily my friend from church was taking pics. I'll add them later!
So, for those that don't know my cooking. I Cook BIG or not at all. Plus I like to do fun crazy meals for the kids to eat! We are to poor to go out to eat and unfortunately out bank is right next to Red Robin. I LOVE the California Chicken burger with Guacamole or the Mushroom Swiss Burger. So I did my own creation of the 2. YES I AM A PIG!!!!! I ate the entire thing and it tasted good.
These are "Jack the Pumpkin King Heads" ....stuffed Green Peppers with Sausage. Gideon kept saying he was eating brains!
Here's Cami's great hair during dinner.
Don't you just love how "Domesticated" my husband is. Making Cinnamon buns and wearing the slippers my Mom gave me.
One of the great things I have enjoyed since moving to Idaho is GARDENING. It is SOOOO fun and I am totally into being as self reliant as possible. There were a few things in the garden that were not done yet when the snow hit in November. BUT when we had a bunch of it melt we were happy to see some stuff still alive under the snow. So we had a last Harvest in the garden during December! Red and White Onions, Turnips, Cabbage and Radishes.
Dirty!
Clean!
We attended our Wards Christmas Party. I am not a fan of Santa at the Ward Christmas parties ~ I know Bah humbug~ but Santa is so commercialized now a days I really the Ward Christmas Program would be dedicated to Jesus and fun Primary Christmas programs and such. BUT I liked how they did the Santa at this party. It was Bro. Hamlin~ Who I love~ and he came in during dinner time and went from table to table with some of the young woman as elves passing out Candy Canes. Blake fell in love with the Elves and ended up getting picked up by one of the girls and carried around. Kyle got a crack out of Blake's cute little wave back to us. I hate saying this, but the food was the worst I have ever had at a Ward Christmas Party. It was a fun little event for the kids though. We left to visit LaVon's house afterwards!
Blake and Santa
Janel, Colton and Hannah talking to Santa!
This is as close to Santa as Cami would allow!
Gideon having fun. He LOVED the fact that he could go pick his own desert!
Yeah!, Kyle and I. I don't know why the camera was being so blurry.
